Industry Standard Formats
MediaReactor™ creates standard file types indistinguishable from those created on native hardware.
Read and write DPX, YUV, Cineon, MOV, AVI, WMV, MXF, TGA, TIFF and DV files in compressed and uncompressed SD, HD, and digital cinema formats from 2K up to 5K. The ability to move between proprietary formats eliminates incompatibility barriers which impede creative progress.
It's Supported
All signal and file formats are supported with the same version. SD, HD, Digital Cinema and 2K Film all from one interface.
With such a wide matrix of file types supported, your file incompatibility issues will disappear. Use the devices you prefer, the formats best suited to the application, and the workflow that works best for you.
Automated Conversions with Watch Folder Support
So you have incoming files, delivered regularly via satellite or network feed? Or you need to process an existing library of files for availability to other applications?
Automatically create the file type you need, prioritize transcodes based on their importance, run conversions in the background; in short, anything you need to get the job done while maximizing your efficiency.
Sharing Content and Collaboration
MediaReactor™ can create low resolution (or proxy) streaming files to share with your team where full resolution files are large enough to make distribution a problem.
Run your project through MediaReactor™ to create files you can view, send and store easily.
Application Compatibility and Conversion
MediaReactor™ provides transcoding to and from the industry's most popular software editing applications. Transcode files for Smoke/Flame, Assimilate Scratch, Nuke, Final Cut Pro, Avid editors, Premiere Pro, Digital Fusion, After Effects, Shake, Motion, Combustion and many more.
MediaReactor™ files, both compressed and uncompressed, are supported directly by these applications. This means no extra steps in moving media between your software and the real world.

MediaReactor™ Minimum Requirements
MediaReactor™ can likely be installed on any retail computer you can buy. Slower computers will just run conversions more slowly. More powerful hardware (better / faster / stronger processor, RAM, motherboard, VGA for display etc.) will run conversions faster. At minimum, you will need a Windows 2000/XP system running on Core2 Duo processor with 2GB RAM.
Note: MediaReactor™ does not support Windows Vista OS or Windows 7.
